Jazzy's books started with my passion for photography.  We adopted Jazzy at eight-weeks-old. Her crazy antics and photogenic nature caused me to take over 7,000 photos her first year.  The first book, Growing Up Jazzy, started as a photo album of her first year.  I added a poem and sent two copies to my great nieces who wanted more. Eight years later I have twenty-two books and another on the way.

As a child I wanted to be a veterinarian but grew into a piano player. After obtaining my music degree from West Virginia University, I started a masters program at Temple University in Philadelphia in Music Therapy. Instead of getting that degree, I met and married Dale. After 25 years in the military where we lived in Maryland, Heidelberg Germany, and Virginia, and had two wonderful children, we have ended up in Gadsden, Alabama to be near those children and my first grandbaby.
