Sonja loves making children smile. Her Jazzy’s Books series features fun photographs that delight young, emergent readers while introducing concepts like the alphabet, counting, shapes, time, friendship, self-worth and more. What began as a simple photo album in 2017, grew into a self-publishing journey that continues today. Passionate about teaching, she helps writers through leadership in the Chesapeake Bay Writers. She hosts several virtual writing groups, and she participates in the SCBWI and NLAPW.
