Guest Author: Rosie Russell

One of the best parts of being an author, and growing my writing community, is meeting other authors and reading their stories.

Each month in my newsletter, I feature a guest author. In 2026, I plan to feature two authors per newsletter. What better way to get children interested in reading than to introduce different books to them.

But besides my newsletter, I plan to start a guest author page on my website and share their stories in my blog too.

Let's start with my friend Rosie Russel. We met virtually in 2021. I forget if I reached out to her to help me with a book, or if she found me, but we've been communicating ever since. She has supported me 100% on my journey and I hope to meet her in person one day.

She is a supporter of other authors through her interviews, blogs, and social media. Not only does she support other authors, but other artists as well. She truly is a person who's goal is to enrich the lives of those around her.

In addition to supporting other authors and artists, Rosie writes and illustrates her own picture books and chapter books. She's written sixteen of them and I've been lucky enough to have helped her with her last chapter book, Magical Fashion Show Contest
