It's Not All About Jazzy

Usually it is, but sometimes I am motivated by something other than my dog. I saw this beautiful illustration by Anastasia Mart on Facebook and just had to write a short poem for it. I reached out to Anastasia to learn more about her.

Anastasia Semenova (aka Anastasia Mart). is a 24 year old artist living in Russia. With her dad as a professional artist, she has a teacher and critic at home. She has been drawing every day since early childhood. The last few years Anastasia has been practicing with watercolors. She has read many books about different techniques and classical drawing. Her goal is to illustrate a book. She writes, " I draw my pics and want to connect them with stories for a children's book. But now they are only pics without stories."
