Summer Activities

If you are looking for things to do this summer, then go to the Gadsden library and check out Jazzy's Guide to Summertime Fun. Is the book not in your library, then ask your librarian to obtain it. Or, just buy it from Amazon. It's on sale now until June for $10.99

Jazzy encourages children to do things like:

Start a collection of rocks or leaves.

Learn the names of flowers and trees.

Visit a museum. Learn of the past.

Buy a book so memories last.

Play in the sand or play with a ball.

Swim in the water or do nothing at all.

Walk in the meadow or march down a lane.

Hike on a trail or walk in the rain.

There are 40 activities and with the checklist at the end, you can keep track of all you've accomplished. I've added the list below.
